A Single-Family Office, Built Around the Board

Peregrine founds businesses, buys businesses, backs them as a minority partner, and serves on boards and investment committees. Capital usually accompanies the seat. Sometimes the seat is the position itself. Either way, Peregrine leads from the board.

It works with founders and owners at a transition, management teams at an inflection, and institutional partners and boards building or governing platforms.

Concentrated

Selective by design. A small number of positions, each with real attention.

Principal

Proprietary capital at risk, with returns earned through ownership and outcomes.

Board-Level

Fiduciary board and investment committee positions with aligned economics. Seats held, not hours billed.

Three Ways In, One Position

Every engagement resolves to the same place: a board-level seat with aligned economics, whether that alignment takes the form of invested capital, equity, or board compensation. What differs is the entry point. Peregrine concentrates in healthcare and healthcare services, with selective positions in specialty finance and asset management.

Formation

Founds

Building a company from the ground up, as founder and principal investor. Peregrine takes the earliest risk and the first seat, then stays on the board as the business is built.

Proof
  • NanoKar Therapeutics. Founded and built a next-generation CAR-T biotechnology company.
Acquisition and Structured Capital

Acquires and Backs

Control buyouts, structured equity, and minority positions in profitable lower-middle-market companies. This is the active acquisition mandate: proprietary capital, a long-term ownership orientation, and a board seat alongside management.

Capital
  • Proprietary family office capital.
  • No fund to raise, no investment period, no fund dynamics.
Governance

Serves

Independent director and investment committee seats where governance itself is the engagement.

Proof
  • LifeCare Home Health. Board through turnaround and sale.
  • General Intelligence Holdings. Investment committee.
